SEO for Google.fr, done by French natives
Ranking in France is not a translation problem. It takes keyword research done in French, content written by French natives, and links from French sites. We do all three from our offices in Toulouse and Paris — and report to you in English.

Why translated content does not rank in France
The most common mistake we see from international companies is treating French SEO as a translation job: take the pages that rank in English, translate them carefully, publish, wait. The rankings rarely come, for two reasons.
First, French people do not search the way your English keywords suggest. They use different terms, different phrasings, and often ask different questions entirely, because the buying context is different. A translated page targets a keyword nobody in France types.
Second, translated text reads as translated. Sentence rhythm, vocabulary choices and cultural references all give it away, and both readers and search engines respond to that. Pages that keep visitors reading rank better; pages that feel foreign get closed. This is why our French content is written from a brief, not from your English pages — the ideas are yours, the words are built for the French reader from the start.
There is a third, quieter factor: the ecosystem around your site. Rankings in France are reinforced by mentions and links on French sites, by a Google Business Profile if you have an address here, and by content that answers questions French buyers actually ask. None of that can be produced from a translation memory. It has to be done in the market, in the language.
What the work consists of
An engagement is monthly and the output is concrete: pages published, links earned, technical issues fixed. Each report lists what was produced that month, so you can compare the invoice to the work at any point.
Keyword research in French
We start from what French people actually type into Google, with French search volumes — not from a translated version of your English keyword list. The two rarely match: a term that drives your traffic at home may have a French equivalent nobody searches for, while the phrasing French buyers use may not exist in your vocabulary at all.
Content written natively, in-house
Articles, category pages and landing pages are written directly in French by our team in Toulouse and Paris. No translation layer, no freelance marketplace. Google has become good at spotting translated content, and French readers are even better at it.
Links from French websites
Authority in Google.fr is built with links from sites that French users and French Google trust: French media, French professional directories, French industry blogs. A backlink profile made of English-language sites does little for rankings in France.
Local SEO if you have a physical presence
If you open an office, a store or a showroom in France, we set up and optimize your Google Business Profile, build the local citations that matter in France, and create location pages that rank for searches in your city or region.
Reporting in English
Positions, organic traffic, leads and the work done each month, in a report written in English. You see exactly what you are paying for without needing anyone on your team to read French.
A realistic timeline, stated upfront
SEO in a new market is a medium-term investment. Here is the honest version of what to expect, the same one we put in our proposals.
Audit, keyword research, technical fixes, first content published. Rankings barely move; foundations do.
Content and links accumulate. First page-one positions on specific queries, first organic leads.
Compounding phase: the pages that rank feed the newer ones. This is where the economics turn in your favor.
If you need customers in France before month four, run Google Ads campaigns alongside the SEO work — paid traffic while the organic side matures.
